Were you refused?

A refusal is a fix list, not the end.

Paste your refusal letter or GCMS notes and VisaTriage extracts every officer concern, maps each one to a concrete fix, and rebuilds your application until it’s green.

The three refusals we see most

Intent to remain

The #1 refusal reason. The officer wasn’t convinced you’d leave when your permit expires. Fixed with a stronger ties story: family, property, employment, and a specific return plan.

Insufficient funds

Often a presentation problem, not a money problem — many refused applicants showed double the requirement. Fixed with 6-month statements, documented sources for every deposit, and proper supporter letters.

Weak study plan

Vague answers read as fake answers. Fixed with a specific statement: this program, this career plan, these companies, this timeline home.

Reapply — with fixes

Best for legitimate weaknesses (funds presentation, thin ties evidence, vague statement). Your fix list stays pinned through the rebuild, and your readiness score won’t go green until every refusal concern is addressed.

Judicial review — when it was unfair

If the officer didn’t engage with evidence you actually provided, a federal-court challenge can set the decision aside. Strict deadlines: 60 days if you applied from outside Canada, 15 days inside. The process takes ~6–7 months and is handled by licensed lawyers — we’ll connect you.
